Richmond, Maine - The Richmond-Dresden Bridge, carrying traffic on Route 197 over the Kennebec River, will be reduced to one lane on Tuesday, August 20th.As crews continue this bridge replacement project, it is necessary to move equipment on and off the current bridge resulting alternating one-way traffic for approximately 16 to 18 hours beginning at 5 a.m. on Tuesday, August 20th. Flaggers will assist motorists during the time of the lane closure.
This $17.6 million bridge replacement project is being performed by Reed and Reed, Inc., of Woolwich.
