NEW TRACTOR SUPPLY COMPANY STORE COMING TO THOMASTON

Thomaston, Maine - Construction is underway on a new Tractor Supply Company store in Thomaston,
the company’s 19th Maine location.

Tractor Supply Company is the largest retail farm and ranch supply store chain in the United States and has been operating in Maine since 2007.

The Thomaston Tractor Supply store will be located at 38 Thomaston Commons Way, and will employ 12 to 17 full- and part-time team members. The store will include sales floor and support service space. A fenced exterior space will be used for storage and displaying items such as fencing, sprayers and livestock equipment.


“Tractor Supply looks forward to being a member of the Thomaston community,” said District Manager Brian Parker. “Thomaston is a great fit due to the part-time and hobby farmers, and horse owners in the area.”

The contractor for the project, Benchmark Construction of Westbrook, began construction on June 10. A completion date has been tentatively set for late October.

RCN America are excited about this new company coming to this area and employ more workers from Maine. At the same location in Thomaston, Maine, Walmart is also planning to open a super store there. Construction on both Walmart and Tractor Supply is underway with the entrance to the complex already completed.
