The Greater York Region Chamber of Commerce is excited to present our 15th Annual Golf Tournament! The tournament will take place on Monday, August 26 at The Ledges Golf Club. (Raindate is September 23, but only if the course is closed.) Boxed lunch at 12:00pm and shotgun start at 1:00pm; it is scramble format. We will have fantastic raffle and player prizes, including a chance to win an iPad from York Hospital. J.S. Pelkey Funeral Home, our presenting sponsor, will be providing some unexpected props on the course!
Our Drive Through Hospitality Tent is sponsored by Tapley Insurance and it includes BBQ bites from The Meat House. Estes Oil & York Hospital are contributing sponsors and the Hospital will be hosting some fun surprise activities! We will have our usual Boston Whaler Competition sponsored by York Harbor Marine & the $10,000 Hole In One sponsored by Lontine Insurance. We’ll also be offering “Play with the Pro”, Matt Blasik, who will be on the course to challenge your skills and offer you tips! Holly Elkins, from Natural Care Wellness, will be doing chair massages at the clubhouse. We welcome two new sponsors this year: 10th Hole Sponsor – Wiggly Bridge Distillery. Come check out the still! Yes, a hand-made, hand-rolled, hand-riveted copper still. By utilizing long forgotten styles and techniques in building the still, every dent will uniquely contribute to the flavor Wiggly Bridge Distillery spirits. After enjoying a full day of team comradery, at approximately 5:30 pm, we will all gather at the Club House for the Player Awards, Raffle Drawings and Dinner. Interested in playing?
