WHITINGHAM, Vermont - Husson freshman forward Alison Boulier has been named the North Atlantic Conference Women's Soccer Player and Rookie of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
Boulier and the Eagles had a tough week of competition but pulled out a 1-1 record. In a 2-1 win over New England (Maine), the Bangor, Maine, native put Husson on the board in the 14th minute to tie the game at one-all and helped end a 13-match losing streak to the Nor'Easters that spanned 23 years. In a tough loss at Bowdoin (Maine), she netted one goal.
Boulier leads the team this season with three goals and six points.
