Camden Rotary Presents Grants To Local Non-profits

Camden – December 16, 2013 --Camden Rotary Secretary Jean Burleson (left) and President Tony Bates (right) recently presented four local non-profit organizations with grants totaling of $3,500. Accepting the donations on behalf of each organization were Joe Curll of Coastal Opportunities, Becky Brace of The Osprey Club at Penobscot Bay Medical Center, Rusty Brace of United Mid-Coast Charities and Ann Feeney of Camden Area District Nursing. The Camden Rotary Club, which meets every Tuesday for lunch at First Congregational Church in Camden, is dedicated to community service and raises funds year-round to assist charities both here and abroad.
