Madore’s interaction with the organization started when he was attending Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia and made the decision to become a Big Brother. He was a driving force Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mid-Maine’s expansion into Kennebec Valley and has served on the Golf Fore Kids’ Sake committee for the past three years and as Co-Chairman of the event for the last two years. He has also served on the agency’s Fund Development Committee.
“Giving back to my local community is important to me. With two children of my own, I can experience the joy of helping my children learn, play and grow. BBBS does this as well with so many children who do not have the same opportunities that our family does. BBBS truly makes a difference in the lives of children. This organization is growing stronger by the day because of the amazing people supporting it. I am proud to be a part of the team in making a difference in the lives of children in my community,” Madore says.
Madore lives in Hallowell with his wife and two children.
